Blazing Trails - Food Sampling & When Product of the Farm Becomes Cottage Foods

Tuesday | Feb 28, 2023 | 6:30 - 8:30 PM Central Time (US and Canada)

This shortened version of Blazing Trails (it's usually a 4-hour class!) will do a deep dive into all the rules / regs / licenses / permits / certificates for food farmers & food makers  - and when they intersect in different sales channels. Plus - the food sampling law - and how it might change in the 2023 Legislative Session.

MFMA provides services, programs, and leadership that support and promote farmers' markets

across Minnesota and our Tribal Nations.

We envision a community of vibrant, profitable, and professionally managed Minnesota farmers’ markets that:

Cultivates, nourishes, and inspires a vibrant local foods community;

provides accessibility to all to local farm fresh foods;

allows local food producers to thrive and grow.
