Ingredients:
1 lb. carrots
1 cup vinegar
1 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon mustard seed or 1 teaspoon ground mustard
1 teaspoon dried dill weed or 1 head fresh dill
Making Your Next Favorite:
1. Pare carrots, cut them in quarters, then into 3 inch lengths. Cook in boiling salted water for 7-10 minutes. Drain, set aside.
2. In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, mustard seed and dill. Simmer, uncovered for 10 minutes. Remove from heat, add carrots.
3. Refrigerate or can. Ready to eat after marinating fro 8 hours.
