Ingredients:
2 cups white sugar
1-1/2 cups cooking oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 farm fresh eggs
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 cups flour
3 cups local apples, peeled and diced
Topping: 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup butter, 1/4 cup milk
Optional topping: whipped cream
Making Your Next Favorite:
1. Cream sugar and eggs. Add oil slowly and beat well. Combine dry ingredients and stir well. Add apples and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into greased Bundt pan (batter will be very stiff).
2. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
3. Make topping (start 10 minutes before cake is done): Mix brown sugar, melted butter, and milk; then cook for 2-1/2 minutes. Pour over hot cake in pan. Let set until cold. Remove from pan. Serve with whipped cream!
